One Day Guided Tours To Somme

Thursday 19th August:
Our Day Trip consists of:
7:00am Leave from the Surrey area or an agreed depature point for bespoke trips - where secure car parking is available.
9:00am Crossing via Channel Tunnel
11:15am (local time). Arrive in Calais. Onwards travel towards Vimy Ridge.
12:15pm Stop off at Vimy Ridge and hear the story of some of the fighting that took place.
2:00pm Lunch stop. Free to wander in the town centre of Arras with its cafes and shops.
3:00pm The Canadian Memorial Park at Beaumont Hamel and the Serre area of the Sheffield Park.
5:00pm Drive to Thiepval and see the Memorial Arch, Visitors' Centre and Ulster Tower. On to Poziere followed by a coffee break.
6:30pm Return to journey towards Calais.
9:00pm Arrive at Calais and return crossing
10:00pm Back at departure point. Approx.
